Why change?
Throughout the years, the Direct Group brand and DGS have served us well and we’ve grown from strength to strength, both in service and in product range.
We came from humble beginnings as a sole operator out of a garage in Te Rapa in 2007, and have grown to now servicing over 4,000 customers throughout New Zealand.
During this time, we’ve seen a HUGE transformation in product ranges, fabric, service and technology and as a team, we’ve also transformed in skills, knowledge and abilities.
Now is the time for our name to reflect this transformation.
We know brand is more than just a name, it’s an identity. It’s what teams live and breathe. It creates connections, helps achieve goals, and provides a point of difference from the competition.
We have big goals for our company and after many hours of planning, deliberating, and crafting, we’re proud to reintroduce ourselves to you. The company you know and love, passionate about bringing out the very best in your company through branded merchandise, uniforms, and apparel. Our name may be changing, but we’re still the same.
We’ll continue to deliver expert advice, master craftsmanship, the latest and greatest products and outstanding service you’ve come to expect from Direct Group, but with a renewed brand that better reflects what our amazing team creates for our customers, and the high workmanship we excel at.
So, what’s next?
Over the next weeks and months, you’ll begin to see The Brand Makers branding come to life as we update our office and vehicle signage, stationary and digital channels. We’re excited to uncover this new brand identity to you!
We’re excited to enter this next chapter as The Brand Makers, and expand even further across New Zealand, not only within our branches, but also in our product range– watch this space!
